It has been a long while…

That’s the understatement of the century. Oh what a year 2018 was…… However I am back to loving life, loving myself and working out like a machine, working in a gym helps. I am going to start weekly blog posts every Sunday, gotta use my little space on the world wide web 😊😊 The best is yet to come, 2019 you are going to be freaking amazing!!

Certificate completed, now onto my first client

Certificate completed, now onto my first client

Now that I finally have that certificate I worked hard for in my hand, it’s time to start working on my first client, ME!!! The last 6 months have been a rollercoaster ride of emotions and with that came very little desire to work out, now finally I have broken free of the funk I’ve been in and I’m ready to finally get back to what I love. How can I expect to train others if I can’t train myself?!…

5 Months Into My New Journey

5 Months Into My New Journey

This past weekend was 5 months since I was laid off. The shock of my job and source of income being uprooted with no warning took a big hit, also doesn’t help that I suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) which makes winter’s hard for me always. Now 5 months later, I’m feeling absolutely amazing!! I don’t find myself getting into a funk about life and worrying, just a funk about this never ending winter *shaking my fist at mother…

Adios 2017…. Hello 2018

2017 I had so many goals and dreams I wanted to accomplish, and the first half of the year I kicked ass and felt AMAZING, August was the start of a downward spiral, life challeneged and pushed me, tried to break me, but here I am standing tall. 2018 will see many challenges as I continue my education that will see me enter a new career, seems crazy in my mid 30s, but anything that excites and challenges the soul…

Tips for Dropping the Pounds and Inches

Tips for Dropping the Pounds and Inches

Working out is amazing, but if you don’t combine it with healthy food choices you will never see the results you’re looking for. Here are a few of the things I am incorporating into my new 7 week plan (starting October 16), it is in line with my TRX bootcamp I am starting tonight. Water – Drink 1 glass of warm water before showering every morning – Drink 1 glass of room temperature water before each meal – Drink a…

Trial and Error

Trial and Error

I had created a workout plan for myself, however found that I didn’t create one that I fully enjoyed and it wasn’t well thought out. Trial and error and learning, all apart of life. Starting back to TRX finally next Thursday after a very long hiatus from it, no bootcamps were ran in the evenings and I enjoy doing TRX bootcamp style, brings out the competitor in me. So I’m once again at the “drawing board” working on a new…

I’m the worst blogger lol

Well it’s been MONTHS since I last wrote in here. I took the summer off from the gym, the body and mind needed a break to relax and decompress, happily I only gained 4lbs back, I’ll take that as a win. However now after a few personal and life setbacks I am ready to get back to it and continue the journey and end goal. Below is my workout plan that will get me through the rest of September, come…
